Duties and
Responsibilities:
Environmental Health
Specialist-Sanitarian enforces government regulations to keep the environment
and the public clean. They do a variety of jobs which include collecting data
to analyze whether the water is sanitary for the community among activities
that help improve the community as well as keeping the people informed.
Salary: $25,000-$50,000
Education:
Students should take advanced high
school classes in math and science. A bachelors or master’s degree is required
in environmental health or environmental engineering, and an approved certification
of the state.
Reflection:
I wouldn't like to pursue this career
due to its complex requirements of always having the knowledge of the safety
requirements of each independent city and find an alternative solution to a
problem that might not be puzzled back together.
