Health Science Librarian

Duties and Responsibilities:
The health science librarian’s organize data used by practitioners regarding the patient’s care, education, research, and administration. They deal with electronic database information system, organizing the information into collections and develop catalogs for access.

Salary: $35,000 - $55,000

Education:
Students should take challenging high school courses in information management, science, math, and English. Health science librarians should earn an undergraduate degree in one of the life sciences and have a master’s degree in library science.

Reflection:

I wouldn’t consider in becoming a health science librarian because I’m not a very structured person who likes to keep things organized and remember where exactly I left all the data. It seems like a boring job that is my opinion maybe others might not think so.

Health Science Librarian

Duties and Responsibilities:

Heath Science Librarians gather and organize medical information to help find patient’s information for their care, research, education, and administration. They select books, journals, other library materials and establish electronic and digital database information systems. They organize the information and create catalogs for easy access.

Salary: $35,000 - $55,000

Education:

Students should take challenging high school courses in math, science, and English. Students should have a Bachelor’s Degree on anything that is life science, and then must achieve a Master’s Degree in library science in the program American Library Association.


I wouldn’t like to a Health Science Librarian because I’m not an organized person and so I wouldn’t really keep everything on track and be very disorganized and I don’t believe I would like to be just setting an organizing things when I don’t do that in my own life.
