Duties and Responsibilities:
The health science
librarian’s organize data used by practitioners regarding the patient’s care,
education, research, and administration. They deal with electronic database
information system, organizing the information into collections and develop
catalogs for access.
Salary: $35,000 - $55,000
Education:
Students should take challenging
high school courses in information management, science, math, and English.
Health science librarians should earn an undergraduate degree in one of the life
sciences and have a master’s degree in library science.
Reflection:
I wouldn’t
consider in becoming a health science librarian because I’m not a very
structured person who likes to keep things organized and remember where exactly
I left all the data. It seems like a boring job that is my opinion maybe others
might not think so.
