Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Duties and Responsibilities:
Nuclear medicine technologist
produces radioactive substances to treat and detect diseases. They then position patents into capturing
images for detection of abnormal area thus leading to illness. Nuclear Medicine
Technologist administers patients into test and explaining the test and medication
they are going to be going through. This
work is performed in clinics, laboratories, and specialized hospital
departments.
Salary: $28,000
- $42,000
Education:
Students should take challenging
high school courses in math, science, and English. Need Associates and Bachelor’s
degree, state license, and meet federal standards for administration and use of
radioactive substances.
Reflection:
I don’t think I’m
adequate for this job because it doesn’t
really catch my attention I mean it must be awesome working with all these
chemicals, mixing and matching different substances but I just don’t want to
mess with that and end up putting the world in danger for compounding something
that can’t be irreversible.
