Pharmacy Technician
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Pharmacist Technicians work in pharmacies
filling prescriptions according to doctor’s orders for the patients, checking
inventories and ordering supplies, receiving and checking in supplies, helping
fill out insurance forms among other tasks. Pharmacy technicians work in retail
pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, and some large industrial complex.
Salary: $15,000-$25,000
Educational
Requirements:
Students should take challenging
high school course in math, science (especially chemistry), and typing. After acquiring
high school diploma two years of pharmacy technician is required leading to
certificate.
Reflection:
I wouldn't
like to become a
pharmacy technician it just seems too easy of a job and not that much pay. I’m
not as clean as they might want a pharmacy technician is or maybe not as
organized, I’m a disaster so why cause other people disasters.
