Student Success Statement
“I will persist until I succeed”
-Og Mandino

I strongly agree with the quote, my reason being that everything is possible as long as you keep trying and trying and accomplish that dream of yours. Persistence is key to success, I feel like that was a student success statement a couple days ago, but it’s true. If you keep giving it your all, all that giving will return you something in favor. A great example of persistence is the struggle of someone who wants to become successful but don’t have the opportunities or resources to get them started, so they make opportunities until they achieve what they desire.

Some college work needs to be acquired, as well as experience in respiratory therapy and medical terminology, for acceptance in perfusionist training. Must attend; perfusionist training program at academic health centers, medical schools and universities recognized by the American Academy of Cardiac Perfusionist.

Reflection:
I would like to become a perfusionist because on the hands job, you aren’t dealing with the basic stuff you are dealing with the legit operation and having the capacity to having a patient’s life in your hands. I know it might sound wrong because it kind of like a rush knowing that everything depends on you and the capability of the surgeon.

Student Success Statement

“Nothing in the world can take the place of PERSISTENCE.
TALENT will not; noting is more common than unsuccessful men with talent.
GENIUS will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.
Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts.
Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan ‘Press On’ has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.”
-President Calvin Coolidge (30th president of US 1872-1933)

I agree with this quote because it’s nothing but facts about life. You may have the brain, the talent, the money, and the education but the doesn't compare to someone who is willing to do anything and everything in order to fulfill their dreams as they are people who won't give up until they achieve what they have proposed themselves to. I honestly believe that they are many people in the world that are lacking skills but they have what others don’t have and that’s perseverance.
Patient Representative

Duties and Responsibilities:
A patient representative represents a patient when they have concerns in special needs. They investigate complaints; they collect their dissatisfaction and try to resolve the patients problems. Patient representatives work in hospitals, nursing homes, in public agencies and other long term health faculties.

Salary: $20,000-$40,000

Education:
Students should take challenging high school courses in business, science, math, and English. You should be a college graduate with a health or social services background.

Reflection:

I wouldn’t e interested in this career due to its very minimal education and really doesn’t revolve around the actual caring for patients and well it’s more of resolving someone’s problems and having no action in the actual medical field.

“Persistence can change failure into extraordinary achievement.”
-Matt Biondi (Olympic Gold Medalist, World Record Holder)

I totally I agree with this quote, the only thing that will help you succeed is to push yourself through and if you fail you haven’t pushed hard enough. Persistence is key to success and just keep believing in yourself and never give up because if you give up then why would you waste your time and energy in something you didn’t even finish.
