Patient Representative
Duties and
Responsibilities:
A patient representative represents
a patient when they have concerns in special needs. They investigate complaints;
they collect their dissatisfaction and try to resolve the patients problems.
Patient representatives work in hospitals, nursing homes, in public agencies
and other long term health faculties.
Salary: $20,000-$40,000
Education:
Students should take challenging high
school courses in business, science, math, and English. You should be a college
graduate with a health or social services background.
Reflection:
I wouldn’t e interested in this
career due to its very minimal education and really doesn’t revolve around the
actual caring for patients and well it’s more of resolving someone’s problems
and having no action in the actual medical field.
